Gallay Medical & Scientific Pty Ltd is an established company and leading provider in a range of equipment for the Medical, Pharmaceutical and Scientific industries throughout Australia.
We are seeking self starters, with strong team orientation, customer focus, organisational skills and self motivation to maintain, increase and develop the already successful VIC and TAS markets. Based in our Melbourne office, responsibilities will include development of new customers and leads coupled with the requirements of the existing customer base as well as supporting scientific equipment installations, operator training & education.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant scientific discipline will be highly regarded, although not essential. A proven sales track record in a related field will also be highly regarded, but consideration will be given to applications from both experienced professionals as well as recent graduates who display a strong understanding of the scientific commercial marketplace.
We operate in a specialised market and will provide full product training support.
To be considered in this role, you require:
- Commercial acumen
- Excellent customer service focus
- Ability to travel as required of the position
- A current drivers license;
- Practical skills for installation and commissioning of the smaller capital equipment range
- Good written and verbal communication and computer skills;
- Excellent organisational skills;
- Desire for a long term successful career in this area
- Self motivation
