Your new company
A leading healthcare provider in Melbourne's west is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis
Your new role
Your primary role will be the general oversight of site operational maintenance and projects. You will also be responsible for the management of internal trades, servicing of equipment, managing scheduled and reactive maintenance programs, quoting for small to medium projects and assisting in capital works. You will be expected to work within a budget and report on expenditures in accordance with relevant legislation. The Maintenance Manager is required to manage a wider team of staff in the day to day workings of a complex healthcare environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in a Facilities or Project Management
- Thorough understanding of OH&S and ESM regulations in regard to Facilities Maintenance
- Electrical background preferred
- Previous roles managing direct reports
- Demonstrated experience working in a customer-facing environment managing a diverse range of maintenance works
- Experience in the healthcare sector will also be highly valued
