- Key senior role in award winning Practice focused on professional indemnity, especially in the area of health laws
- Advise on issues such as medical ethics, disciplinary and statutory work, tribunal hearing, clinical governance
- Insurance litigation claims brought against the public hospitals, doctors and nurses in relation to medical negligence and public liability
- Apportionment settlements across diverse range of allied health professionals
- Partner has an excellent wider breadth of practice across staple areas of insurance litigation however the emphasis of this role will be for you to drive health matters and develop your niche here further as demand trends upwards in the sector
- Incident investigation and response to workplace incidents, claims and disputes
- Credentialing and doctor dispute matters, coronial inquests, and provide health advisory services across a diverse range of legal and regulatory issues
Criteria
- Strong academic transcript in LLB
- 5+ post admission experience at a reputable firm
- Experience working with health professionals or medical/health related insurance matters required
