About the role

This market leading specialist commercial litigation law firm has a truly open and down-to-earth culture. 

An opportunity exists for an experienced Legal Secretary to join the Sydney office of this market leading law firm. Supporting the Managing Partners, you will provide high-level administrative support and act as an extension of both partners. You will work closely with the Office Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.

Following the successful completion of min 9 months' secretarial support to the Managing Partners, you will be promoted to Paralegal. 

Your tasks will include (but not limited to):

• Supporting the partners in managing their practice
• Word processing, legal document preparation and drafting correspondence
• Diary management
• Month-end billing
• Answering phone calls and assisting with client enquiries
• File opening and closing
• General administrative support
• Developing relationships with internal and external clients

About you 

You will possess:

• At least 3 years' legal secretarial experience 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Friendly and energetic disposition
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
