We are looking for an Insurance and Administration Officer to join our high performing team in our Welshpool office. The Insurance and Administration officer will play a key role in the team is responsible for insurance processing, workers’  compensation claims and return to work programmes. The role reports to the State Accountant. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Maintains and is responsible for insurance processing, including: - invoicing, cheque requisitions, letters.
  • Assist Workers Compensation claims and return to work programmes, including representing Path Transit at case conferences when required
  • Manage the Vehicle Accident Registers on TIMS system.
  • Communicate with third parties, insurers, police, engineering and operations and assist with insurance policies and claims 
  • Ensures compliance with B.M.S. policies and procedures in the incumbent’s areas of responsibility.
  • Produce Monthly reports from the system and others as required.

You will have:

  • Insurance and workers' compensation claims exposure
  • Experience working with Microsoft office products at intermediate level
  • General knowledge of the public transport services an advantage.
  • 5 Years senior office administration
