The brokerage has been in business for over 30 years and has an established client base and strong referral network (both external and from other parts of the business) allowing you to build rapport and provide top advice without the need to prospect for new business.

What you will be doing:

As an Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of SME clients whilst also adding to your portfolio through building rapport and providing advice to inbound leads. The role will include the management of renewals from existing clients but you will also need to convert new business.

You will be given all the tools and support you could ever want and with a loyal client base already in place, you will have the perfect launching pad to build up a strong portfolio of your own clients.

This is a 360-degree Insurance Broker role so you will be responsible for providing advice, managing claims and negotiating with underwriters on behalf of your clients. You will be provided with assistance from the admin team when it comes to paperwork and will also have the other Brokers, with whom to bounce ideas.

What you must have to apply for this role:

  • A number of years’ experience within a commercial insurance broker role
  • Desire to learn and grow within a business
  • Ability to work well as part of a team

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

  • Tier 1 qualified
