About the role

Our Lebanese bakery and cafe, located in Kensington, is opening in early September and looking for reliable bakers/cooks with experience in making pizzas and/or Lebanese baked goods/cuisine.

We are looking to fill these different positions:

• Full-Time Cook / Baker to work the Morning Weekday Shift (6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday);
• Full-Time Cook / Baker to work the Afternoon Weekday Shift (12:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday); and
• Casual Cook / Baker to work the Weekend Shift (10:00 am – 9:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am – 5:00 pm on Sunday)

Responsibilities

• Mixing, balling, and rolling the dough.
• Preparing the stuffing.
• Making manoosh, pizza, wraps, and Lebanese pastries using latest, easy-to-use oven technology.
• Preparing the shop for the start of the day.
• Keeping areas and equipment clean and tidy.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in related food preparation position/s, preferably making pizza and/or Lebanese breads such as manoosh and kaak.
• Have Australian work rights.
• Ability to handle work in a fast-paced environment.
