The Role

We currently have fantastic opportunities for catering assistants who are passionate about food and service and willing to assist the kitchen team in an Education café, residential and function catering site.  Your mission in this role is to deliver top quality, tasty and consistent food in a timely manner. Reporting to the Site Manager.

These are permanent positions operating in a dynamic service environment. As such operational conditions and client demands will dictate hours of work, however they are Monday to Friday during school term only.   On  occasions evening or weekend work may be required.  Stand down during school holiday periods apply.

.You will be responsible for:

• Previous experience in customer service and food presentation
• Solid interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of /qualifications in food safety
• Experience with made to order sandwiches, hot and cold food storage
• Impeccable grooming standards
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment (Café environment desirable)
• Experience with cash registers during busy periods advantageous
