Restaurant Manager, Sunshine Coast. We are currently partnering with our client who requires a permanent full time Restaurant Manager for their team.

Your new company
Our client is looking for an experienced, motivated Restaurant Manager to join their team located on the Sunshine Coast on a permanent basis. This position is an exciting opportunity to make your mark in a business and make the position your own.

Your new role

  • Provide direct support to the Area Manager and Regional General Manager
  • Provide exceptional management & leadership to the team
  • Carry out a thorough training and coaching environment with a focus on improving the teams capability
  • Follow all procedures and policies accordingly in line with the business values, mission and vision
  • Carry out effective team planning and recruitment when required
  • Build a high performance culture and work ethic with all employees
  • Show strategic planning and operational plans and align every employee to these goals and focus for the future
  • Identify training needs and carry out one on one development with all team members
  • Implement new processes, policies and procedures effectively
  • Drive productivity
  • Proactively manage all receiving and ordering of stock and waste management
  • Deliver 100% customer service experience and satisfaction
  • Ensure all health and safety standards are followed and correct compliance is up to date and monitored
  • Effectively manage risk and all compliance matters within the business
  • Ensure food quality is exceptional to all guests and that their experience is memorable
  • Respond to all customer service feedback and handle complaints
  • Connect with the community and drive local growth
  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders


What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive experience in restaurant management or similar working environment within the hospitality, retail or hotel sectors
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Have a commercial acumen
  • Highly developed organisational skills
  • Maturity to handle a range of situations, work under pressure and be able to work to tight deadlines
  • High level interpersonal and oral communication skills regarded
  • You will be able to show initiative, have a meticulous and thorough nature and outstanding customer service skills
  • Passion and experience in achieving great customer outcomes
  • Highly developed organisational skills
  • High level interpersonal and oral communication skills regarded
  • Maturity to handle a range of situations, work under pressure and be able to work to tight deadlines
  • You must have exceptional computer literacy and technical skills
