The Role:
As an Assistant Private Gaming Room Manager you will be responsible for aiding in the management of a group of bars across Sovereign, providing proactive management and leadership to our beverage department to ensure efficient and effective operation.
Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for
- Recommend, support and deliver strategies designed by the Venue Manager
- Provide recommendations to maximise revenue
- Assisting in managing P&L to ensure beverage operations are within budgetary requirements
- Main point of contact for customer service queries and/or complaints
- Manage staff, including training plans, recruitment, development and performance
- Ensure all policies and procedures both in-house and external are adhered to
The requirements:
- Previous experience working within a high volume food & beverage establishment
- Strong supervisory ability with at least two years' experience in hospitality or beverage environment (preferred, however not essential) coupled with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding product knowledge
- Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Micros is highly regarded
- Available to work across a 24 Hour, 7 day rotating roster
