We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison to support Sanofi Genzyme’s Multiple Sclerosis portfolio. In this role you will use your scientific expertise to inspire, partner and lead. Reporting to the Medical Liaison Manager your duties will include:

• Maintain a strong disease state knowledge and effectively communicate medical knowledge to internal and external stakeholders
• Develop and foster excellent relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
• Develop and lead tactical medical strategies ensuring involvement with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Market Access and Sales
• Support Medical Managers and Clinical Study Unit Project Leaders in the development of local research programs and facilitate Investigator Sponsored Trial requests
• Develop agenda and scientific content at Clinical Symposia and attend local, national and international scientific meetings to keep up to date with new clinical data

Key selection criteria include:

• Previous experience in the same or similar role
• A Degree in Medicine or PhD would be desirable
• Background in MS is highly desirable
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical data with an understanding of the clinical trial process
• Strong business acumen combined with a desire and ability to collaborate
• Solid appreciation of the healthcare landscape in Australia and New Zealand
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to develop strong professional relationships are essential
