Due to more and more tenders being won, an associate mechanical position has been created.

The Client
With an impressive portfolio of projects completed and a big order book of work they are well established as one of the top engineering companies in Australia with an expanding reach across the UK, US and Middle East. They are a multi-award winning consultancy who win work off the back of their quality design & consult approach. Not only do they hold many building engineering honors they consistently win employment awards for the training and development and care of their staff.

The Role
Currently they have a new opportunity for an established Senior or Associate Mechanical Engineer who is looking for a new challenge and is keen to step up and become an integral part of a highly successful team working on Landmark projects across Australia.

Responsibilities
As an Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for being the project lead, supporting and delivering designs for a range of project types and sizes. You will be client facing, technically well rounded and able to offer the benefit of your experience to more junior Mechanical Engineers within the team.

Responsible for meeting with clients, developing and producing reports, specifications and guidance or overseeing testing and commissioning activities, working closely as a team to ensure we achieve the best results.

Requirements:

• 8+ years experience in a consultancy, Australian exposure is a must
• A Degree in Mechanical Engineering 
• Excellent technical knowledge in your primary discipline and a thorough understanding of Building Services Engineering within Australia
• Experience in the design and delivery of medium to large scale projects
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to liaise with stakeholders
• Data center experience and knowledge of chilled beams systems beneficial
