The Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Parramatta on a fixed term contract. You will assist in the development, implementation and management of infrastructure or other projects in accordance with RMS guides, practices and processes to ensure project schedule, price, quality and scope objectives are achieved. Some of your responsibilities will include but not limited to;
- Assist the completion of nominated projects to agreed time, cost, quality, and scope requirements
- Contribute to the effective administration and delivery of professional service and/or construction contracts by development and implementation of project briefs
- Contribute to effective stakeholder consultation by developing and implementing project community and/or stakeholder involvement plans.
- Assist in the preparation of strategic, concept and detail designs, by the application of project management techniques.
About You
- Relevant engineering qualification
- You will have a strong understanding of the principles of project management and experience in their application in managing road and or bridge construction / maintenance.
- Knowledge of the technical aspects of materials, equipment and techniques used in road and bridge construction and / or maintenance.
- Knowledge of the use of quality management in project and/or contract control, with an understanding of the use of integrated management systems such as; WH&S, IR, environmental management and related computer based management tools on projects.
- Ability to manage and develop projects and prepare tender documentation, implement tendering procedures and oversee professional design and construction contractors.
