The Role

As the program is ramping up, AECOM has immediate needs for a Project Manager to join the Easing Sydney’s Congestion Program, based in Parramatta.

In this role you will deliver civil construction projects from initial opportunity identification to project close, as relevant to a Professional Services Design and advisory business. The Project Manager will have an expectation to deliver objectives as part of an integrated owner’s team and manage the KPI’s of cost, schedule, quality, safety, and client service.

The position requires experience in community, council and stakeholder management during the delivery of engineering and construction. The Project Manager will be accountable for the delivery of projects covering municipal infrastructure related to transport infrastructure to the values of up to $50M per package, liaising with the client to ensure expectations are satisfied, managing the team through to successful completion, conducting scheduled reviews on progress, and managing project interfaces.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar.
  • 5-10 years of contract / project management experience in civil construction industry
  • RMS experience highly desirable, or relevant government authority experience
  • Previous experience successfully delivering projects on time, to schedule and budget parameters including a good understanding of Traffic models and data
  • Proven experience in community, council and stakeholder management and consultation
