Snack Brands are seeking a safety conscious and proactive leader to join their Engineering team as a Project Manager (PM).
This is a new role for our business and as such will have some scope for change however will be primarily responsible for managing capital and project works that create opportunities for continuous improvement and cost savings.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Participating in the tender process (design, submission and review)
- Developing full scale project plans defining project tasks and resource requirements
- Designing risk mitigation plans
- Providing direction and support to project teams
- Scheduling project timelines ensuring projects meet deadlines
- Managing projects to budget
- Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects
The PM is a key contributor to the Engineering and site teams. As such our ideal candidate will have a proven and diversified approach to safety, leadership, continuous improvement and cost control.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in similar role or at least 5 years industry experience at a management level together with relevant tertiary education in a related discipline.
Additional functional & technical skill requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills
- Proven background in delivering capital projects in time and on budget
- Process re-engineering/business improvement/change management experience
- Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project and other business software
