Project Manager - $500M RMS Project

This major civil company is acknowledged as a leader in their industry and have recently been awarded a $500M project south of Sydney. They have a national presence and turnover more than $1B. They currently have numerous projects throughout NSW and are in the process of adding to what is already considered as a progressive and industry leading team.  

As an experienced civil construction professional you will take the lead role in the coordination of all aspects of the project including management of personnel and subcontractors, safety, quality and liaising with the client during the delivery of your projects. 

To be successful you will need experience on roads and infrastructure projects here in NSW, QLD OR VIC. You will report to a Project Director that has overseen major infrastructure projects in NSW. As a Project Manager you will manage and be responsible for the financial, safety, supervision of staff and sub-contractors as well as managing the client relationship. 

This is an autonomous role and you will need to have a reputation with the RMS as a top class operator. The role requires a driven individual that can handle the pressures of project timelines as well as an ability to mentor site engineers. As a senior member of the project delivery team, the role will require the successful applicant to have a sound knowledge of contractual requirements and ensure all site personnel 
complete the scope of works in a cost effective and timely manner.

You'll be responsible for the co-ordination of SEQ requirements in accordance with company policy. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders will form a big part of this role. Your ability to manage client, subcontractor and internal relationship will be vital in this role.
