Custom Home Builder in the Blue Mountains seeking organized and diligent junior estimator eager to learn

Your new company
This custom home builder is quickly growing and is looking for a junior estimator to join the Blue Mountains office. They are looking for someone from either a carpentry or estimating background who is keen to take their career further. The company’s employee centric culture and phenomenal reputation make it a recognised employer of choice in the area.

Your new role
You will be mentored by one of the directors of the organisation who will teach you about sales estimation, production estimation and procurement. You will learn how to create BOQs, variations, and issue orders to suppliers. You will be liaising with suppliers, construction supervisors, and the drafting and design team.

What you'll need to succeed
You have your Cert IV, Diploma, or Degree in a building and construction related field as well as a proven work ethic - that doesn’t necessarily need to be building relation. Beyond that, you are a motivated detail oriented employee with a focus on teamwork.
