Exciting permanent opportunity to join a dynamic team. I am looking for a candidate who has a good broking/financial markets background along with good leadership and management experience. A full understanding of the Australian post-trade market infrastructure and associated business is required.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Operations staff including identifying and planning of training, as well as ensuring adequate coverage at all times;
Manage, develop and coach direct reports and assist them to develop their respective team members and instil a compliance culture within the Operations team;
Authorise and execute transactions for the department;
Resolve client complaints to minimise risk and impact to the business;
Assist in the review and development of process improvements throughout the department and document all procedure;
Review all exception reporting;
Delivering high quality service to both internal and external clients ensuring all internal controls and procedures are complied with at all times;
Skills:
- Understanding of office administration function, risk management, regulatory compliance and IT
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong influencing and senior management engagement skills
- Passionate People Leader with proven background in Banking Operations Leadership
- Provide sustainable leadership, coaching and performance feedback to direct reports
- Experience with MUREX, DTCC, AUSTRACLEAR, RITS,
