Full Job Description
Are you a successful customer service officer who is looking for your next step in one of the big 4? This is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain valuable experience as a customer service officer within the KYC (Know Your Customer) space!
With previous customer service experience, this will be a great chance for you to really drive your career and expand your skill set. Using your empathy, negotiation and of course customer service skills you will be able to help customers and understand their needs. We have multiple KYC customer services roles to start asap on a temp to perm basis, based in the Parramatta Site.
About the role
This role is an entry level, customer service role which will be involved in ensuring the KYC aspects of the bank are adhered to:
- Identifying and verifying the identity potential clients
- Prevent against AML or criminal activity through meaningful customer conversations
- Cross referencing names against known parties
- Monitoring customer transactions and behaviours
- Making outbound calls to speak to customers about their information
- Responsible for attending and successfully completing assigned training in the mandated timeframe
- Meet or exceed KYC remediation targets

About you
- Knowledge around CDD and EDD reviews for non-individual customer base
- Knowledge of Turst/SMSF accounts and Trust structures including entities.
- Previous experience in customer service
- Cantonese/Mandarin is highly DESIRABLE
- Willingness to learn and work in a highly compliant space
- Engagement and ability to go the extra mile
- Work collaboratively with a successful team
