Do you have experience working in an Arts organisation? Do you possess strong managerial skills?
Our client is Sydney’s leading aerial and circus arts training centre and performance company. They are a community-based organisation, Not-For-Profit organisation and registered charity with DGR status on the Register Of Cultural Organisations.
They are currently looking for an experienced General Manager who has the proven ability to grow a business and exhibits both management proficiency and a business development drive.
If YOU are community minded, have experience with grant applications and preparing and presenting Board reports, then our client wants YOU!
The role requires the General Manager to report directly to the board, complete the full daily management of a performing arts entity, develop strategic plans and highlight business and financial opportunities.
The role is multi-faceted, with priorities shifting daily, from organising workshops and, collaborating with customers, community organisations and employees to establishing marketing plans and monthly reporting to the Board.
Through attending promotional events, expanding fundraising initiatives, highlighting and implementing new opportunities, maintaining professional and technical knowledge and establishing personal networks, YOU will drive this organisations continual growth and success.
CONDITIONS:
Reporting: Directly to the Board
Hours: Monday to Friday / full time hours
