What a great opportunity for an IT-savvy business improvement specialist to rev up the resume!

This exciting organisation is an international member association committed to advancing the practice of community and stakeholder engagement through education, advocacy and building partnerships. A peak body for a wide range of organisations, its members include councils, government organisations and in fact, any and all businesses that engage with the community.

So, we’re looking for an individual interested in community and social issues, with the right skills and experience to head a project to analyse and upgrade all of the IT initiatives used by this organisation around Australia.

This is envisaged as a two-year commitment, starting imminently, to align with the next strategic planning process.

Your remit will be to come in, analyse what exists, collaborate with the CEO and others to determine future needs, formulate the strategies, draw up the ‘roadmap’, recommend the resources, take over the management of the external providers and drive the Business Improvement Plan (BIP).

Reviewing the operational policies, procedures and processes, you’ll develop and manage the BIP, to include improving the levels of automation, reducing errors and introducing new methods for exception reporting.

Since adroitly managing the crucial relationships with external providers is central to success, you will need the brilliant mind of a technical guru, but the impeccably professional presentation of a business leader.

Articulate and with excellent inter-personal skills, you have the knack of converting ‘tech-speak’ into clear everyday language. So, you’re able to share skills and knowledge in such an attractive way that you quickly gain the respect and trust of everyone you work with.

And of course, that capability will be essential as the project evolves and you are called on to continually explain its functions, teach its intricacies and enthuse staff and associates about the change.

Pragmatic and easy going, with a superior IT intellect, you’ll combine your flair for analytics and evidence-based conversion to produce a refigured system that will take this national company through to its next stage of expansion.
