A rare opportunity has become available to join this renowned business for a Process Improvement and Scheduling Manager to lead and develop a major project focused on excellence, capability, workforce planning, service delivery logistics and rostering.

Working with fellow leaders this opportunity is a Brisbane based role which may require a 6 – 12-month secondment to Melbourne where the individual will optimise stakeholder engagement, drive operational efficiency and balance long term strategic initiatives with operational requirements. Once the secondment is completed this position will be permanently located back in the Brisbane based head office.

The accountabilities in this role include:

  • Collaborating with large and diverse rostering team to develop best practices;
  • Working with teams to identify required workforce goals and objectives;
  • Developing cost effective and efficient resource planning and rostering;
  • Analysing service demands and resourcing trends to ensure accurate forecasting;
  • Monitoring modelling and analytical tools, standards and methods considering business perspectives;
  • Educating leaders in the effective workforce planning and logistical practices;
  • Reviewing and reporting on financial implications involved in resource plans;
  • Developing strategies to enhance operational capabilities across all rostering functions;
  • Generating high quality rostering and resource planning that supports industrial agreements, organisational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Driving change and implementation across the group the successful candidate must display outstanding written and verbal communication skills, experience working with key stakeholders and have advanced analytical skills. You will have proven capabilities within complex multifaceted organisation and a focus on continuous improvement programs. This position calls for someone with highly developed strategic thinking and problem solving skills.
