Australian Country Choice is one of the largest privately owned companies in Queensland and a long established producer and supplier of high quality beef products to the Coles Group. Our Head Office and modern food processing facility is located at Cannon Hill, Brisbane, Australia just 20 minutes from the CBD.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated senior leader in food manufacturing. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role is responsible for delivering on our customer expectations through ensuring safe and efficient operation of all machinery, production, schedules and people management within our Further Processing Department.
To be successful in this role you will be a results driven leader and possess demonstrated experience in managing high performing teams within a fast moving consumable manufacturing environment. A key performance indicator of success in this role will be your ability to drive continuous improvement in safety, systems and procedures and to effectively oversee daily operations.
Along with demonstrated success in a similar role, commitment to customer service delivery, an in-depth understanding and application of meat process manufacturing, the successful candidate will also possess:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
- A strong commitment to safety and quality outcomes
- The ability to coach and mentor others
- Experience in managing a diverse workforce
- Ability to analyse, problem solve and prioritise workloads effectively and efficiently
- Experience in building and maintaining strong team culture in a diverse working environment
- Excellent computer skills
- The ability to deliver on production / service outcomes in a fast paced working environment
- Proven ability to adapt to change
- Strong reporting design capabilities
