St John of God Health Care (SJGHC) is a Ministry of the Catholic Church and one of Australia’s largest non-Government health care providers, with 17 hospitals, home nursing and social outreach services throughout Australia, New Zealand and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

The primary purpose of the role of CEO St John of God Foundation is to support the efforts of St John of God Health Care Inc in achieving its Mission through planning and implementing fundraising efforts especially with regard to major capital appeals, research and education, and programs.
The Foundation now seeks a strategic and results-focused individual with a demonstrable record of success to lead it. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors, and this role will report to the Board Chair.
Key competencies include:
- An inclusive leadership style that is holistic and exemplifies servant leadership and enables you to strongly lead the Mission and role model the values
- Capacity to understand and promote the Catholic identity of St John of God Health Care
- Extensive experience in a leadership role with responsibility for developing strategy and implementing highly successful fundraising activities and events
- Significant track record of success raising new income streams.
- Excellent relationship management skills and a demonstrable capacity to build sustainable alliances with major donors, corporate partners and funding bodies.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to influence and lead a dynamic team with a willingness to implement innovative strategies
