eWater Systems is an Australian owned biotech company which supplies electrolysis units to generate simple, sustainable and highly effective alternatives to harmful packaged chemical cleaners and sanitisers.

We supply a unique range of water cleaning and sanitising systems that are used instead of traditional chemicals to sanitise all types of food, kitchen equipment and surfaces.  Our systems are currently installed in more than 350 sites nationally, many of which are blue chip companies and high profile buildings and facilities.

Our head office is based in an inner city location in Melbourne, and we are working with a rapidly expanding client service network to supply and service customers across Australia and New Zealand.

About the role

With demand for our systems and products increasing exponentially, a new role has been created for a highly skilled and motivated national Service & Operations Leader to join eWater at a pivotal time. 

The role is responsible for leading our service contractor network, all operations, customer management, warehousing and distribution activities.  The role consists of managing the end-to-end supply chain after product sales; coordinating warehouse and all client support requirements.  Reporting to the CEO, you will be required to deliver the highest levels of service and operations excellence, incorporating a wide variety of tasks, all of which are essential to the ongoing success and future development of the business.

The new role is within an organisation undergoing significant change and rapid growth.  Your team will grow quickly; it is vital that you have experience managing both small and large teams.  You have a can-do attitude; you are willing to roll up your sleeves whilst maintaining leadership within your team to work productively and hold them accountable.

Required skills and experience

  • Extensive background in service and operations management ideally supporting technical product based businesses with excellent troubleshooting and organisation skills.
  • Recognised as having strong leadership and organisational skills, and being an excellent team leader with excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience and track record of effectively managing off-site employees and contractors. 
  • Intimate knowledge of CRM, service ticketing, inventory management and work order systems, together with a proven ability to prioritise workflow. 
  • Strong customer focus in every aspect of the job, including an ability to work directly with key customers in a technical capacity and to maintain strong relationships with technical peers.
  • (Desirable) 5+ years in a hands-on technical equipment servicing and operations role (refrigeration, plumbing or electrical) with high-quality references.
  • Valid drivers’ licence with no driving restrictions.
