The Company
A highly successful and dynamic national organization experiencing exciting growth are seeking a tertiary qualified and experienced manager, with a proven track record in operational excellence and a strategic mindset, to lead them into their next success phase.
This is a senior, high level position where you will be required to play a key role in day-to-day operational management, development and implementation of business strategy and growth in the region. You will be measured on your ability to drive results, achieve agreed outcomes and ensure a high performing work culture.
The Opportunity
- Manage and own all elements of the State’s operations including Finance, WHS, HR, Operations, etc.
- Manage and deliver on agreed revenue and profit for the State
- End to end execution and delivery of all contracts
- Instill a culture of uncompromising customer service through all levels of the business
- Develop and lead a high performing team through empowerment and engagement
- Develop, implement and execute a risk framework across all regional operations and ensure appropriate mitigation plans and strategies are in place
- Have a broad understanding of legal, regulatory and compliance to understand their impacts on business operations – Employment, WHS, Quality, etc.
- Develop and implement robust systems and processes to ensure operational excellence across the state and drive a culture of continuous improvement
Skills and Expertise
- Demonstrated management experience, either at state or senior management level
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Construction or similar
- Exceptional leadership ability to foster a high performance work culture and drive cultural change
- Significant ability in strategic thinking, proactive planning, project management and operational execution
- Proven track record of managing and delivering agreed business outcomes in a positive and collaborative manner
- Strategic and business planning skills, with the ability to manage risks
- Superior skills in the management of contractual relationships including cultivating and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Proven commercial acumen with strategic financial planning ability and the ability to deliver on stringent KPIs
- Excellent communication – oral and written – with the ability to deliver high level executive reports on a regular basis
