Our client, TLE Electrical in Caringbah, is part of the leading distributor of electrical and data components and equipment in Australia, MM Electrical Merchandising (MMEM). The Role:

Are you looking to advance your career path in the electrical wholesale industry? Do you have strong electrical knowledge that you would like to use in a sales role? TLE Caringbah is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual with proven experience in the electrical industry, to take on a Supervisor/2IC position. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks involved in the day to day running of the electrical wholesale business. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Working closely with key customers and suppliers to develop and maintain strong and effective relationships
  • Timely and knowledgeable attendance to all customer requests and inquiries
  • Assisting the manager in the preparation of reports, invoicing and other general administration tasks
  • Supervision of the branch when the acting manager is not present
  • Stock control
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of strategies to increase profitability and grow revenue and market share
  • Management of the sales team
Essential Criteria:
 
The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and providing exceptional service. Strong electrical product knowledge is essential and wholesaling experience will be highly valued for the role.
 
To be successful, you will also have:
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a flair for sales/business development
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills   
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Great rapport and relationship building abilities
  • The capability to work both autonomously and within a team
