This is a key appointment for our fledgling company which has ambitious plans and a vision to be the best natraceutical brand recognised as a leader in health-related to the microbiome and the gut, organic products and science-driven innovation.

Our premium organic nutritional supplements help Australians feel their best every day. They are certified organic, efficacious and quality assured. We are highly differentiated on both company and product levels which allows us to market with complete transparency; we don’t make claims that can’t be backed up by scientific evidence.

With 15 new products across two core ranges scheduled to launch over the next 9 months, we are seeking a National Sales Manager to help recruit and lead the Activated Nutrients national sales team. Our primary sales channel is the premium pharmacy channel. We would prefer someone with experience and current relationships within the pharmacy channel but this is not a requirement.

We currently have a small foundation of pharmacy stockists, but our National Sales Manager will be building the sales team and developing the channel with new infrastructure. With that in mind, we envision a candidate that is familiar with a “start up” environment.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Recruit and train national sales force, and set targets
  • Ensure the sales team meets monthly and quarterly  revenue targets
  • Establish and manage relationships with pharmacy banner groups and wholesale customers
  • Develop sales dialogue/pitch
  • Develop sales material in conjunction with communications team
  • Report to MD directly and report on sales progress and channel updates
  • Implement weekly sales team meeting
  • Provide input into go-to-market strategy for product launches and in-store marketing support for retail partners

EXPERIENCE

Three areas of experience will be considered in the selection process:

  • Sales and Sales Management
  • Retail Pharmacy experience
  • A  knowledge of health supplements and probiotics

However, the prime criteria will be motivation to do a great job in a fast growing segment.

We hope to hear from sales professional with experience in recruiting, building and leading a sales team. A background of operating within the retail pharmacy with a proven track record of achieving sales targets but maintaining a strong personal relationship with customers would be a significant advantage.
