Axito Pty Ltd has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our dedicated team of highly qualified professionals.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Champion and drive new sales initiatives and opportunities and deliver sales targets.
  • Work closely with new clients to understand and define their requirements.
  • Manage client expectations and work with the Sales team to respond to quotation requests in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to the Managing Director about current activities, future prospects and market intelligence.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and business and development plans in order to win new business with the emphasis on services and solutions
  • Manage key existing customer relationships
  • Foster and promote the company, products and brand presence in the market.
  • Other duties as required by the Managing Director

What experience and skills are required to succeed?

  • At least 5 years sales experience including complex sales/business services/business to business sales
  • Computer literacy including experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, but also be an enthusiastic team player
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
  • High level of dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate
  • Research skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long term partnerships with clients to ensure ongoing and repeat business
  • Ability to identify leads, negotiate and close deals.
  • Strong drive and ambition to meet and exceed sales performance targets and KPI’s

Desirable but not essential skills and qualifications:

  • Experience working for a business consulting service provider
  • Previous self-employment or business ownership
  • Public speaking experience
