MSS Security has an opportunity for a Training and Compliance Coordinator to join our Aviation Team based at Darwin Airport. This position is responsible for the delivery of training and assessment of accredited and non-accredited training programs to MSS Security employees in our Aviation division.
As the Training Coordinator your primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Delivery and assessment of Aviation Accredited Training Materials to employees based at Darwin and Alice Springs Airports
- Management of training files and relevant documentation to ensure compliance to associated regulations
- Providing assistance and support in the development of employees
- Scheduling training sessions, and ensuring all training and assessments are conducted in a compliant manner
- Facilitating on the job training and providing mentoring to buddy trainers.
- Administration associated with the coordination and delivery of all courses including conducting enrolments, assessments, collating documentation and feedback mechanisms
- Participation in validation activities and professional development
- Review of training materials to ensure continuous improvement
To be considered for the role you will require the following professional attributes:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110) plus TAELLN unit
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Aviation security experience
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite
- Experience working in an RTO and in the delivery and assessment of training
- Current Provide First Aid
- NT Security licence
- Ability to interpret and apply government legislation and regulations
- Develop and implement policy, processes and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
