About the role:
Support the strategic development, delivery, evaluation and promotion of capacity building projects to support the long term resilience and sustainability of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts sector.
What we are looking for:
In order to succeed in the position of Projects Officer Capacity Building First Nations, you will have:
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Indigenous culture, with the ability to establish credibility with stakeholders by understanding and applying Indigenous protocols appropriately
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a diverse range of stakeholders
Strong experience in managing projects, including preparation of project plans, reporting against key milestones and assisting in the evaluation process
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare complex brief, project plans and reports using plain English
Sound problem solving skills - identifying and proposing workable solutions to problems
Willingness and ability to travel nationally as required, including remote locations, a driver's license is required

The commencing salary for this position is $72,646.00 per annum + 15.4% superannuation.
