Australia’s leading editorial publisher is seeking to appoint an experienced Event Coordinator. This exciting role is responsible for providing event production and administration support to the events team to ensure the ongoing enhancement and development of Bauer’s broad events programme. Working within a dynamic, innovative and results driven team, this role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most hallmark and iconic events in Australia!

The Event Coordinator position is a diverse and hands-on role and would suit a driven individual looking for the opportunity to grow their existing event coordination skills. In this role you will support the team at an administrative capacity, as well as plan, develop and execute a number of events in the calendar. You will have excellent organisational skills that allow you to prioritise tasks and balance competing business needs. You will work in a supportive and collegial team environment.

What you will bring includes:

• Proven experience in Event Coordination, with particular emphasis on supporting wider teams
• Able to build and maintain effective customer and internal relationships
• Excellent time management skills including working to deadlines, attending to details at all times
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Proven experience in events coordination or similar role
• Media or publishing industry experience is highly desirable
