We are looking for a Data Visualisation and Reporting specialist for one of our clients in Adelaide CBD. This is a permanent role and you will be working with Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Information Services specialists. This position requires somebody with business and technical skills with good communication and stakeholder management skills.
You will work on data visualisation and developing reports with Power BI and if you have skills with Tableau, Qlik or Cystal Reports, those skills can be easily transferable for this role. This is a well established team of 10 people and you will work closely with a data warehouse and databases specialist.
You will be required to interact with business users and stakeholders regularly.Technially, you will make changes to SQL as and when required and produce reports in Power BI. The hiring manager needs somebody that can reach out to the business directly, understand their reporting needs and make changes to existing reports or create new reports as and when necessary.
The business is moving away from a traditional data warehouse to a cloud enviornment and uses Salesforce as its CRM. Data is dumped into Salesforce, from which you will be required to move the relevant data into a data model and produce reports with Power BI. Any previous experience working with Salesforce will be a bonus and the business is happy to pay for any relevant Salesforce training or certifications.
Your responsibilities in this role will be split evenly between working directly with the business, taking change requests and producing new reports and adjusting exisiting reports to maintain data integrity.
Our client needs somebody confident in their own ability that is proactive.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Reporting and Data Visualisation specialist
- Strong SQL scripting skills
- Skills in either Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or Crystal
- Advantageous to have worked with Salesforce
- Desirable to have worked in an Agile environment
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
