Our well known government client is seeking the services of an experienced Windows 10 Systems Engineer. This is a contract until the end of July, likely extensions. 

Windows 10 Systems Engineer Responsibilities: 

• Definition and creation of Windows 10 image including ‘baked-in’ applications
• Identification and inclusion of all hardware drivers
• Definition and creation of Windows 10 GPO’s that will co-exist with our existing GPO’s
• Preparation of the SCCM environment for Windows 10 image deployment
• Preparation of an image that can be pre-imaged by a hardware vendor before delivery
• Sociability testing of the image in the DSDMIP environment
• Provide support documentation for all work completed
• A working Windows 10 image signed-off by the Customer
• Support documentation
• Provide technical support and assume an escalation point for the managed services onsite support team.
• Ensure that appropriate action is taken to anticipate, investigate and resolve problems in systems and services. Ensure that such problems are fully documented within the relevant reporting system(s). Coordinate the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures. Analyse patterns and trends.

Expected Experience: 

• Previous experience working with, implementing, troubleshooting and deploying Windows 10 to a base of around 1500 users.
• Demonstrated experience rolling out Windows 10 and preparing pre-deployment images
