The Role
We are looking to employ a Solution Director for our Enterprise Applications practice on a permanent full-time capacity based in either our Sydney or Melbourne CBD offices. In this role, the successful candidate will be driving strategic client business solutions, utilising a combination their business expertise and Oracle product knowledge in Supply Chain Management (SCM) across both Oracle Cloud and traditional Oracle platforms / applications.
  
Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Working within a team of Solution Directors will be responsible for owning agreed strategic Cloud solutions and for ensuring that these solutions are understood within the Red Rock organisation.
• Pre-sales: Working with the regional sales team to identify and qualify opportunities and attending customer/prospect meetings, providing inputs into proposals for the practice, and presenting and/or demonstrating their solution as part of bid presentations
• Practice Strategy: Contributing to the overall Enterprise Applications strategy by working collaboratively within a team of Solution Directors.
• Resource Management: Planning national FTE requirements and assisting regions with project resourcing where critical
• Practice Growth: Assisting the regional Practice Leads with consultant training and knowledge plans that align to the National practice plan
• Delivery excellence: Ensuring there is a consistent and repeatable methodology for the delivery of projects, and providing QA services to key projects

Experience Required

• Extensive experience in the articulation of strategic client solutions using Oracle SCM (Cloud or traditional) applications
• Strong Oracle SCM Cloud or traditional implementation project experience in a Senior Functional role
• Strong familiarity and experience with Cloud implementation approach and methodology
• Certification in Oracle SCM Cloud
• Experience deploying Oracle SCM Cloud and/or on premise SCM applications across multiple countries
• Solid experience in providing solution leadership across Oracle cloud apps
• Strong background in building strategy, supporting sales and pre-sales by providing input into bids and proposals for Oracle Cloud apps.
• Strong track record of generating revenue and margin growth across a national practice
• Proven experience in driving a national solutions focused practice within a consultancy or software vendor
• Excellent communication skills and strong passion for practice improvement and quality
• Excellent stakeholder engagement capability
