• MUST HAVE BASELINE SECURITY CLEARANCE

Our client is a government department in Canberra, seeking a Developer (Rest API / .Net) for a 12 month contract with the possibility of a 12 month extension.
 
In addition to the below required skills, you must also have a minimum baseline security clearance.
 
Skills and experience
Essential skills and experience

• Experience developing in a variety of languages. For example C#, Java and Python and SQL;
• Experience developing REST web services particularly in C# using .NET MVC and Entity
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker
• Experience with Continuous Integration platforms such as Jenkins, Wercker, etc.
• Experience specifying APIs using tools such as RAML and Swagger.
• Well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

 Nice-to-have skills and experience

• Experience with source code control systems such as TFS
• Familiarity with project and software development frameworks
• 4 Experience with SQL database management system including SQL structured query language (SQL), PL/SQL, and/or XPath
