This role is one of the key administration roles within the business. Without compliance to the systems and processes within the business, the overall operation of the organisation will suffer.
This role works across all aspects of the operations.
- Human Resources - activities including development and placement of job advertisements, interviews for relevant roles, new employee induction and organising pre-employment medical assessments.
- Quality Assurance - establishment and maintenance of the management systems that ensure AARR comply with all relevant industry standards, complete auditing activities in accordance with the management systems, interaction and education with the team at AARR to ensure the smooth flow of work and records are maintained.
- Workplace Health & Safety – coordinate the investigation of all incidents and non-conformances, manage the system for provision of safety equipment and uniforms, coordinate all activities associated with insurance claims and workers compensation including return to work plans with RTW providers.
- Major Tenders - coordinate the process for communication of tender opportunities, preparation of tenders in conjunction with the sales manager, follow up of tender applications for market intelligence and opportunities.
- Procurement – coordinating the organisation of subcontractor services for production jobs including generation of purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers to achieve the best outcomes, organisation of accommodation for “working away” jobs and any other ancillary service (e.g. Dai Before You Dig)
- Systems – preparation of documentation for sales team for specific projects including quality plans, safe work statements and all subcontractor compliance requirements.
- Accreditations - preparation of documentation through to submission of government and industry accreditations when due for renewal.
- As a provider of specialised road construction services, the person must be able to understand the compliance obligations for the Roads and Maritime Services department of NSW and also local Councils who are a major customer base for the organisation.
