Customer Service Officer
Maternity Leave Contract
Weir Minerals Australia Ltd, a member of the Weir Group PLC, is the market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of minerals processing equipment to the mining industry, both within Australia and throughout the world.
Currently we have a vacancy for a Customer Service Officer (fixed term contract) to work as part of a team servicing major mining customers, based in Brisbane at our Eight Mile Plains Office. This role is a pivotal role for building key relationships between Weir Minerals Australia Ltd and its customers by supplying outstanding customer service.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for quoting spare parts and entering spare parts orders for your customer base, providing them with weekly reports and assisting them with their needs wherever possible. You will work closely with other departments within the organization and gain knowledge about the various product ranges in our Brand Stack.
We need someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills who has the ability to work successfully within a customer service team environment. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of our products and the industry, experience in using SAP and be highly proficient with the Microsoft suite.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- Mandatory knowledge of SAP - Sales and distribution modules
- Mandatory Experience working on Word and Excel - intermediate
- B2B experience will be preferable
