Our Client:
Our client is one of Australia's leading genetic farming organisations. This role will be based at their Lethbridge piggery.
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a reliable person working within our client's piggery. Your main duty will be working in a shed caring for boars as well as collecting and processing genetic samples. At times you may alternate between working in the shed and in the lab processing samples. No specific previous experience required however an attitude to learn and a stable work history will be advantageous.
This is a casual position will the potential of the right candidate going permanent down the track. Approx 20 - 30 hours a week.
About You:
First and foremost, you will have:
- A great attitude, hard work ethic, be reliable and motivated.
- Previous experience working with farm animals is not essential but would be an advantage
- Must be physically fit and healthy
- Basic computer skills essential
- Car and current driver's license essential
- Available to work on a 7 day roster with 5am starts
