38 hours – 40 hours per week, salary level A$55,000 – A$65,000 pa

Ellenby Tree Farm is Western Australia’s largest advanced tree specialist and our main production site in Bullsbrook currently has seventy (70) acres of trees in production. We are currently under way with expansions and these expansions will include a host of automated potting machines, automated racks, automated hothouses and a new computer based controlled growing system that all the automated equipment will communicate with.

We are seeking to employ a full-time Automation Mechanical Technician.  The successful applicant will have at least three (3) years proven ability in machine maintenance, these automated machines will included:

·         Mayer 2020;

·         Javo hopper;

·         Javo Plus X;

·         Versi step Multi controller;

·         Automated hothouses and seeding chambers.

The successful applicant will also be required to manage important automotive installation projects here at our production site.

Understanding production scheduling and how a nursery runs day to day, including what machines produce what trees will be of great advantage to the applicant, as the maintenance and running of this equipment is of great importance for the tree farm to reach all relevant production targets.
