What we are looking for?
ACARES is looking for passionate and committed Community Support Worker to join our organisation. We are keen to speak to people that are interested in building their career within the dynamic disability sector.
We have an exciting opportunity as a Community Support Worker in the Bargara Beach area.
Your daily duties will entail a focus on rehabilitation activities, monitoring of client's health and providing mentoring and support with client ADL's.
Mandatory requirements:
- National police check
- Working with children check
- First aid and CPR certificates
- Ability to work regular, ongoing shifts
Highly desirable:
- Certificate IV in Disability or higher
- Experience with ABI's
- Current driver's licence and reliable car
- Manual handling training and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
