PCYC OSHC Services are dedicated to the quality care of children. We provide before and after school care and school holiday programs to primary school aged children.
About the Role
$25.61 - $26.40 (gross) per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

PCYC Zillmere is currently recruiting a motivated OSHC Assistant Coordinator to assist with the management of the daily activities program and supervise staff at our Aspley East State School Outside School Hours Care Service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the Coordinator to ensure the service meets all operating requirement needs;
- Financial and operational reporting and data processing is accurate and on time;
- Operations are well-managed and commercially viable;
- The operational needs of the service are met through effective forward planning.
About You
- Minimum Certificate III in an area of study applying to childcare workers and enrolled in a Diploma in children’s studies or relevant qualification acceptable to the regulatory agency
- Demonstrated computer skills in childcare management systems (preferably QikKids)
- Demonstrated supervisory and/or managerial experience in an outside school hours care service
- Demonstrated knowledge of Government regulations impacting on outside school hours care operations
- Hold a current Working with Children’s Check (Blue Card) or eligible to apply
- Ability to lead, manage and develop staff in a team-based environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to positively, proactively and regularly and engage with staff, families and students
- Effective business and budget planning and management skills
- Ability to demonstrate a student-centred approach to leisure based education
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to students from a range of different groups, experiences and backgrounds
- A positive, enthusiastic team member with the ability to set goal and prioritise work
- An open and friendly disposition
