The successful person will perform various recruitment practices to provide accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail in the areas of candidate sourcing, screening, shortlisting and client management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with candidates on a daily basis – interviewing, profiling and vetting candidates
  • Ensuring candidates meet compliance requirements including reference checking, qualification checks, teacher registration confirmation and any other necessary safeguarding
  • Develop new and manage ongoing relationships with client schools
  • Building new business including client visits and telephone communication
  • Short listing candidates (Teachers and education staff) – including CV revision and submission; regular consultancy and communication with Clients; interview co-ordination and confirmation

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • An understanding of the relevant standards and policies pertaining to the recruitment of teachers in Victoria
  • Knowledge and understanding of recruitment processes would be desirable
  • Bachelor Degree - preferably in Education; however, this is not essential
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Be eligible for/in possession of an Australian Passport or work visa
  • Australian Driver’s License holder desirable
