The College of Business comprises 6 schools delivering a broad range of programs in Business, at Traineeship, Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor, Masters and PhD levels. RMIT Business programs are delivered in Melbourne, Vietnam, Singapore, Shanghai and Jakarta, as well as through Open Universities Australia (OUA) and RMIT Online.

The Role and Your Responsibilities

The Director of Learning Transformation is responsible for the leadership of quality design and delivery of the College of Business’s programs by promoting, developing and maintaining innovative and future focused educational products that ensure a transformative student learning experience. In doing so, you will also provide academic leadership and support program teams in building their expertise and capability in key areas of curriculum design and delivery.

You will be required to lead a 3-year project in the transformation of the College of Business accredited programs with a focus on authentic assessment, blended learning, industry connectedness, the embedding of contemporary content and ensuring flexible and innovative delivery is core. This will include managing the College of Business transformation process and alongside developing program teams and building capacity and capability.

Skills & Experience Required


We are looking for an excellent leader with demonstrated capacity to build and lead teams, who possesses strong interpersonal communication skills with an ability to inspire, persuade and build trust; with strong influencing and negotiating skills. You will have highly developed managerial skill in relation to the planning, development, implementation, operation and review of programs and courses to achieve effective transformative learning environments for students and staff. The successful candidate must have a Masters level qualification in a Business discipline or in Education or equivalent experience.
