Carinity Education Gladstone operates exclusively as a “special assistance school” providing expert, coordinated support and educational opportunity to secondary school aged young people disenfranchised from mainstream schooling.

The opportunity currently exists for an experienced Teacher to join the team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for structuring projects that extend from individual student interests and identifying curriculum outcomes from a range of learning areas.

What Carinity is looking for…

• Current teaching registration
• Experience in providing support services to marginalised young people, particularly those who have been victims of abuse, neglect, substance abuse and/or self-harm
• Demonstrated ability to establish positive social and emotional skills with students
• Experience and highly developed in Project Based Learning and flexible, creative classroom strategies
• Primary or Secondary trained Teachers
