Our beautiful family owned centre located in the Burleigh area is seeking a passionate ECT who is eager to shape and scaffold our children's lives and has a high level of understanding in the long lasting benefits of quality early childhood education in the first 5 years.
We are looking for a fun and enthusiastic ECT who wants to develop and build secure relationships with children and families.
The right candidate will:
- Create and implement an outstanding learning environment and program working collaboratively with our team.
- Align with our vision and values.
- Build strong relationships with children and families.
- Create an environment where children feel safe, nurtured, respected and heard.
- Have strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework & Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (EYLF & QKLG) and be able to guide our educators in the implementation of EYLF.
- Have true leadership qualities.
- Show genuine excitement in our children's interests and experiences and helps them to explore their ideas.
- Have a love of Teaching and being engaged on the floor with the children.
- Having experience or be interested in different educational influences like Reggio Emilia would be advantageous.
- Willing to undertake additional training in the Abecedarian Approach or similar professional development to help extend your passion and enthusiasm to deliver high level education experiences.
- Be confident and professional with handling difficult conversations with parents.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in a similar position is preferable
- Must hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
- Hold current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis
- Must have a current valid Blue Card
- Have extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
