The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and energetic Driver Trainer to join our Service Delivery team based in Molendinar. Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, you will be required to train, upskill, mentor and guide a team of Tow Truck Operators.  With a strong safety focus you will provide one on one training and support, deliver & contribute to the improvement and development of our training model.

Duties

  • Promote and enforce safe work practices
  • Lead and train your allocated team of Tow Truck Operators
  • Forecast & coordinate training dates
  • Investigate and resolve complaints and incidents
  • Performance management including retraining and upskilling drivers
  • Prepare vehicle damage reports
  • Enforce and monitor procedure compliance
  • Nurture and develop a strong and effective relationship with other departments
  • Perform Audits on trucks and TTOs
  • Manage licensing and inductions for trucks and TTOs

Skills & experience

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the Transport & Logistics industry desired
  • Experience facilitating one-on-one or group training programs
  • A current Cert IV in Training and Assessment
  • Safety driven
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Self motivated to achieve results
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
