Duties & responsibilities
- Positively plan, deliver and monitor play based learning
- Communicate positively and openly with children on an ongoing basis
- Conduct observation and evaluation of children's development
- Provide physical care, assisting children in daily routines and meal times
- Respond to the emotional needs of the children
- Maintain up to date records for each child within the group
Skills & requirements
- Minimum Certificate III in Children's Services (working towards a Diploma)
- A Valid Working With Children Check – for Paid work
- Current First Aid certificate
- Knowledge of current regulations, Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
