About the Company
Transedel Livestock Carriers is a company specialising in the transportation of cattle. The company primarily carts cattle in Victoria and New South Wales with the main depot being in Maffra, Victoria.
Due to a large influx of work, we are expanding our fleet.
About The Role
This role is a long haul, livestock transportation position that requires the individual to drive a B-double truck both locally and interstate. The individual applying for this position will need to have a MC licence and be willing to be away from home for periods of time (usually home every other weekend). You will be required to help load and unload the truck and so experience with cattle is an advantage as well as being physically fit and healthy.
About you
This role would suit an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a good attitude. To be successful in obtaining this role you must:
- Have a Multi-Combination (MC) licence;
- Be willing to travel away from home for periods of time;
- Have experience with cattle/livestock;
- Have experience driving tippers (preferred not essential)
- Be physically fit and healthy;
- Have good communication skills;
- Have a strong work ethic;
- The candidate must agree to drug & alcohol testing.
