Due to strong growth we are seeking experienced Set Out Coordinator to join the Production team in Lynbrook. A full time position is available to the successful applicant.
The role is responsible for supervising the Set Out team, ensuring all works are completed within the required program, time frame, quality and budget. The successful applicant will also be responsible for contributing to the overall performance of the Production department by developing and implementing 'best practice' systems, procedures and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day supervision of a team of Setter Outs, ensuring tickets are created accurately with full details to manufacture- Eg. Cut lists, assembly drawings, etc.
- Liaise with Project Managers daily to keep them updated on progress
- Oversee all order placement and ensure that materials meet manufacture and delivery program requirements
- Liaise with factory teams to ensure units are manufactured to correct design/client detail
- Maintain close relationship with our suppliers
- Lead weekly Set Out meetings
- Approve weekly setter out timesheets to ensure accurate information is noted for payroll/job recording purposes
- Manage production spend in accordance with Ramvek's Delegated Authority
- Provide daily updates to the Production Manager in terms of status of jobs and issues that may impact the team
- Monitor and adhere Set Out quality control processes
- Ensure milestone dates are set at the commencement of each project for Set Out and are monitored and met throughout the life of the project.
- Identify and communicate where Set Out hours may exceed the estimate and provide and implement strategies to minimize overruns
- Outsource and manage architectural drawings to a third party where capacity requires
- Manage third party made to order procurement items and ensure time frames are met based on programmed dates.
